MND Victoria has a range of assistive technology available to help keep you safe and mobile. Items requested for you by a relevant allied health professional are loaned at no cost to you for as long as you need them. Volunteer with MND Victoria!

38 years ago, a small group of volunteers got together to provide care and support for people with motor neurone disease and their families. Volunteers remain at the core of our work today. Volunteers provide crucial support for people living with MND and their families. You can help us provide care and support by becoming a volunteer.

Help Make Aged Care Fair

People diagnosed with MND when aged 65 and over are forced to rely on Aged Care - a support service that does not meet the needs of those with progressing neurological conditions and complex disability needs. Together, we can create positive change in Australia for people living with MND their families and carers.

We regret to advise that MND Victoria and MND Tasmania have made the decision to postpone the Hobart Health Professional Forum. This is due to the impact that the coronavirus(COVID-19) is having on the ability of health professionals to travel and attend events. We apologise for this. The blue cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) was adopted by Australian MND Associations as the national symbol of hope for MND, because of its fragile appearance but hardy nature. Like the cornflower, people living with MND show remarkable strength in coping with this devastating disease. Cornflowers boxes are available to sell all year round.
